2024 MCDA Fall Workshop

Living Your Values: A Self-Care Mini-Retreat Experience

With Jim Peacock and Mark Danaher!*

Friday, November 15, 9 am - 2:30 pm

Bates College, Lewiston, ME and Virtual

This session will introduce you to a mini-retreat model of looking at the next 3-5 years of your life and challenging you to ensure it matches your values and goals. This is self-care at its best. Look at your life in 7-year cycles, identify your values, reflect on your life, identify three options for yourself in the next 3-5 years, and make sure those options match with what is important to you, and what keeps you from living your best life.

All participants will:

  • create a life line map of their lives
  • participate in a values activity with action steps
  • create their life book
  • create 3 career future lives
  • gain the framework to facilitate these activities with their own clients and students

NCDA CEU Credits will be available.
